Dr. Lonnie E. Gailes Scholarship
Do you know a high school senior who spent at least 2 years at Quioccasin Middle School?
The Gailes Scholarship was set up in 1984 to honor Dr. Lonnie E Gailes, who retired as principal of Byrd Middle School (now Quioccasin) that year. The scholarship is awarded to a graduating high school senior who attended Quioccasin Middle School for at least two years and is awarded on the basis of high moral character and leadership in school and the community. In previous years, we have awarded one or two scholarships of $1,000 each.
The 2024 application deadline has passed. Check back here around January 2025 for the 2025 application.
